After just over a month of sizzling into Del Sur, the wildly popular Luna Grill has designated this location as the chain’s primary testing grounds for new menu items. Headed by recently hired executive chef Ron Oliver; his latest rollouts include the Baja and “Powerhouse Lentil” salads; plus updated versions of the Greek; Mediterranean and house salads.
The San Diego-based company has dozens of locations throughout Southern California and specializes in what it terms as “near East and Mediterranean” cuisine. Its core menu of salads; kabobs; and wraps incorporates ingredients that are largely free of hormones; antibiotics; GMOs and preservatives.
