When it comes to street fairs in San Diego, nothing beats the Adams Avenue Street Fair, taking place on September 29 and September 30 along Adams Avenue in Normal Heights. The free, all ages event will have all types of food and drink available, as well as arts and crafts, but music is the draw, with 80 performers taking part on six stages. Headliners include a reunited Hot Rod Lincoln and former Texas Tornado, Augie Myers, alongside many of the area’s top bands including Marujah, Schizophonics, The King Taylor Project, Dirty Sweet, The Goldettes, Come Together and dozens more. With something for just about everyone on offer, the Adams Avenue Street Fair is a glorious way to end the summer.
